Masters Festival at Brands Hatch

Just got back. Here's my summary.
Weather awful, two hour delay cos of rain, two races cancelled and the Jaguar F1 car demo was also cancelled.
However, the rest of it was awesome. The 70s F1 cars were something else - SO fast. It gave me a huge respect for the guys that used to race them balls-out.
Another good day at Brands, they really do put on a good show nowadays.
Anyone else go?

Yep, I was there running our McLaren M1B in the first race of the day, we won that by 6.5s. 
The Masters organisors, Marshalls and circuit staff need to be complimented on getting the event running, it wasnt looking at all good when i got there at 7:30am.
The drivers did a cracking job too, some very good driving going on in very tricky conditions.

Your driving was awesome considering the conditions! And what a FABULOUS noise your McLaren makes!! Thoroughly agree with you John - and your driving highlights the point, particularly as you guys were first out on the track. What an awesome car you have, you are very lucky. When are you next running it? It's not me driving, i build and run the car at the events, the drivers were Mike Wrigley (chequered helmet) and Richard Dodkins (spotted helmet), both brilliant drivers.

Yep - was there on Monday and weather aside - a great day, great cars and half decent racing.
Loved the relaxed approach to it all - no specified "pit walkabout time" - even watched one race from the pit wall (although I probably shouldn't have done!)
Some of the Masters GP cars popped up on the Graham Hill Documentary last night which was interesting!
