Anybody got programe of events for this round?
I've just added the provisional entry list and timetable to the British GT website here - www.britishgt.com (on the ticker at the top of the page)Jeff
Hi,
Go to britishgt.com or britishf3international.com and above the main image is a ticker news flash strip.. wait for the time table link to flash up and you should be able to download the pdf Time table for Thruxton.
First race starts at 08.55 with the first F3 race at 11.45, GT Race at 13.45, and final F3 race at 15.40. There's racing right up to the end of the day at 18.20.
Cheers

We're going on sunday. What time should we arrive? Neither the Thruxton website, or the British GT site has any decent info

For future reference the event previews on both the British F3 and British GT website have links to the event timetable and entry list. These are usually posted about 10 days ahead of each event.
Have a look here - http://www.britishf3international.com/news.php?act...
and here - http://www.britishgt.com/news.php?action=showArtic...

Unfortunately I could only go yesterday, photos to follow shortly. Excellent days racing, although I felt for the poor bloke who trashed his Aston in the heritage race, nose first into the barrier and then spun round and got the back too. It looked expensive with the front mostly destroyed.

The DSC article was taken down because it wasn't clear that Brad's family had been informed and at the time it didn't look good. Happily, Bradley's PR has issued a statement with some encouraging news:
Bradley Ellis Media Statement
Date: Sunday 29 June 2008
Time: 8.45pm
Bradley Ellis Thruxton Incident Update
Further to the statement issued at 5.30pm today, medical examinations, including x-rays and CT scans, at Winchester Hospital have confirmed that Bradley has fractured a bone in his neck. He will remain in Winchester Hospital overnight for observation but hopes to return home tomorrow with a neck brace to support the injury.
Bradley’s sense of humour hasn’t been affected and he remains in good spirits. Bradley and his family would like to thank everyone for their support and kind wishes for a swift recovery.

shame on Austin/Abbot (i think it was austin driving) that was a VERY vicious manouvre and quite clearly he only had the intention of removing Ellis from the track as it was clear from the start he wasnt getting past him and the very firm turn in onto Ellis' back end was the obvious pointer that it was on purpose...
but i presume he didnt expect it to get quite so out of hand. but still it was totally uncalled for to nearly kill a young lad just for a few championship points its ridiculous and frankly an offence which a racing ban should be the outcome, but i doubt it will get to that.
all i can say is i presume he is happy with himself.
