The article in F1 Live says it all. But I'll say it as well. Max Rufus stayed in power because one bloke thought he should.

How corrupt can a voting system get?

One man decides that Max Rufus' behaviour was ok and everyone else's opinion counts for nothing.

Not to say a little bit admirable simply for the chutzpah MM has shown in contriving these machinations. No wonder he was so cocky and confident.
