Just seen these on the McLaren site.
I'm sorry but who's going to pay £750 for a signed print - that's just taking the piss, especially in the current 'credit-crunch' atmosphere...
I think anyone who purchases these should have the words 'TWAT' stamped on ther head!!

Check out Lewis Hamiltons helmet (oh er missus) a snip at £15,000 !!! what a joke !!
I think that is actually one of his though and quite the normal price F1 drivers helmets fetch. The £5,000 one is the one not worn by him I think.Either way crazy money for a driver that has not actually done that much yet !!

I wouldn't be surprised if they use a different helmet every session. Would be interested to hear from anyone who knows if that's the case these days.
I suspect that they don't - on the whole race drivers are bizarrely superstitious folk, so I suspect they will use the same lid they've done well with.It seems a bit pointless to have a different helmet for every race, nevermind every session.
I've never been one for buying signed items - Ebay is full of those horrible little people that hang around outside airports and hotels waiting for someone famous to walk by and sign something and then flog said item on ebay.
Mclaren merchandise isn't badly priced though - team Tshirt is £28, a Fezza one is £39
Ferrari will put their logo on anything and sell it
Ferrari Laptop bag £970 !

The Signed Monaco Helmet at £15,000 is "a limited edition of 100 pieces.....not suitable for motorsport use", so most definitely not one worn by LH !!woof said:
