Last minute Silverstone accommodation

Anyone own or know of any B&Bs with a room or cancellation for the GP this weekend? Just got hold of some last minute tickets.

Has anyone every slept in their car at the circuit or do they not let you do that?

Get a tent you whimp!!!
You will not be able to kip in your car overnight at the circuit, but sure you could just wander down the pub and park there for a snooze!
Go to the silverstone website, go to the accomodation link and give them a ring, won't be cheap though!

Don't know first hand, but a friend won some tickets to the race recently and he has been ringing around try to get somewhere to say.

I'm sorry to say, that all his requests were met with laughter, they have all been fully booked for months

Obviously he didn't try every place, but as suggested, I think you will have more luck with a tent

i just booked up last week at a holiday inn 20 mins from the cicuit at grange park northampton £93 for a twin room with breakfast it beats driving back up to co. durham sunday night there was a few places nearby still with rooms available good luck

try travelf1.com - they are a small firm but really good, i use them for every GP i go to and they are always very helpful

Cavalier Fields still have some room and there are a coupld of B&Bs I got hold of that were VERY expensive.

I managed to get a cancellation from a nice B&B a few miles away. The Holiday Inn Milton Keynes had a room left at the weekend. Not sure if it will still be available. They wanted £230 per night for it though.

Try Cromwell Lodge 01295 259 781. I think they had a room too.
