It does make me laugh when people comment on Ferrari only winning due to help from the FIA. Ferrari won last week due to having a good solid car, and a faultless race, except for Kimi's exhaust. Mclaren struggled due to Lewis's penalty on the grid and then the over take penalty, BMW were off pace all weekend. Ferrari won fair and square
They may have won fair and square on the track, but there's no way Kimi's car should have stayed out on track with that chunk of metal swinging about the place.

lewis got a penalty for doing something michael schumacher did (hungary 06?) without getting a penalty.
kovalainen got a penalty for doing nothing.
kimi didn't get a black/orange flag when he should have, for a very dangerous car.
Lewis got a penalty for overtaking someone then cutting a chicane. Similar penaties have been imposed on people throughout the last few seasons, i cant remember the MS incident in hungary 06.kovalainen got a penalty for doing nothing.

Heiki got a penalty for holding up Webber? in the qualyfying.
Both of the above are penalties, Kimi's incident on the other hand is a bit more complicated as the stewards need to deem the car to be dangerous, a threat to others, if this had been the case im sure they would have happily penalised Ferrari too.
Anyway i dont want to dwell over the last race, its the Brit GP this weekend and lets look forward to that and discuss that, like i said earlier im hoping Ferrari will be strong. After i left the test day last tues ferrari were looking quick but lewis ultimately had the pace on the last day of testing. Friday should be interesting...
if you watch the video, heikki was as far away from webber as he could get. Furthermore, he did not disadvantage Webber in any way (Webber was quick enough to reach the next session).

Michael Schumacher purposefully cut the same chicane two laps in a row in Hungary to prevent Pedro de la Rosa from passing him. He tried a third time but failed to prevent the pass. he was not penalised.
it does not require much deliberation to decide if a sizeable chunk of hot metal, affixed to a car travelling at speeds up to 190 mph, whilst experiencing accelerative forces in the range of -2g to +4g, held on only a thin electrical wire is dangerous to other occupants of a race circuit.

As for Lewis i think he should have just moved over and then gone for the pass again, The MS situation again i am not going to try to comment on this too much as i cant remember the incident.
Finally with Kimi the race stewards would have had a look into whether or not they deemed the car to be safe, and obviously they did hence Kimi was able to continue racing, also if it had really been that dangerous im sure he would have slowed down, where as if you look at his race pace, he was slow for about 8-10 laps but then was back up to pace again. He was obviously able to adjust the fuel mixture to allow him to continue racing.
Rain for this weekend will be a bonus, should really make things a lot more intereting.
