IRl Troubles

I watched Channel Five's coverage of the Texas 550 last night and a comment was made about the lack of Spares and spare chassis. This seems to have been caused by the joining of the "Champcars" as obviously they needed on of the car/engine combo's used in the series. There was also comment about if any more were trashed some teams would not be able to continue. Anybody know any more?

At the start of the season the big teams were leasing their spare tubs for the new champcar teams.
As far as i know its not as much of a problem now, although after the crash fest at Richmond i guess we will find out.
