Its funny how the race numbers are almost invisible on the nose cone now. They're not even on the rear wing end plates any more.

Button stole your helmet? Good heavens. I know things are tight, but even so.

AJ, did you really design that? i actually remember seeing it on his site when looking at the designs , and i honestly thought that should win.. really rather cool, especially given the limited tools available on the site to actually paint with... nice one... what did you win?

Yeah, that was my design/sketch/mess about with the online paint thingy! The prize was fantastic too. I got a couple of top tickets for the whole weekend and got to meet Jenson and hang out in the paddock after qualifying on Saturday. I got to meet his whole family which was really nice. His mum reminded me so much of my own mum, a really friendly and welcoming family. Jenson was really appreciative for the helmet design and he genuinely seemed to really like it. I did look great in the flesh. The helmet gets auctioned off to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation, which is fantastic. Just such a shame about Jensons result. Still a proper hero though. I took my brother-in-law with me for his birthday. He's a new Type-R owner and now a massive F1 and Button fan too!

There all awesome photos, i was there all weekend and my camera got no where near that close with the zoom. I struggled from that distance to get them in the shot at that speed.

Button was doing well....

Gotta love it in the rain

Hamilton playing, he had nothing else to do

Apart from get soaked by Heikki.

One of two spins infront of me by Massa, this time stopping on track and lighting the tires to spin round. The second nearly put him in the pit wall!

A few more on http://flickr.com/photos/goldeeno/ alot more to follow..

Took hundreds of car pics but this is my favourite pic of the event -

Practise 1 the aftermath of Fernando's break down and subsequent tyre wall impact from Felipe.
