A racing version of the BMW M3 has been unleashed on the track for the first time. The car is making its return to the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and has been in development for a year.

Stunning! I have just been on the ALMS website and it is being used in the GT2S class. I'm hoping it does well as I am a big fan of M3s and I wouldnt mind seeing it wipe the floor with the Corvette!

Another uninspiring V8 engine, looks nice though and will be rapiiid!! What is GT2s then? Is it the yanks name for GT3 or is it a new class for saloon based GT2 cars, hence the s on the end?
