Well I thought my weekend was over on Friday and I do hope someone has a photo of my airborne crash, Dad was with HB Car 13 and he said the marshal said over the radio that my car was 3ft in the air! Just got to say a big thanks to my Dad, circuit officials and all of you that offered us parts/help to get the car back to race prep in time for the 1st race. Mickey.

I wish I had been there to see it but Painting the spare bedrom beckoned on the Sunday. We will also keep the patented core plug repair equipment in the tool box should it happen again.

This one has to be my favourite


three completely different TVR's with Different engine, two with lots of aero and one with hardly any.. A very exciting race was no the cards there.. the three cars had very different streangths and weaknesses ...

Just A pity I couldnt get more than 3 laps before the gearbox played up and 5 before it jammed in third.. AGAIN!!! That particular box has one more chance before it becomes a garden ornament....

What a fabulous track Anglesey is, the redevelopment work is excellent and the views over the circuit are fantastic.

Congrats to John on his very well deserved clean sweep of pole, win and fastest lap. In true racing spirit he overcome the disappointment of not making the grid in race 1 but made his mark in race 2. The car is really nicely built and goes as good as it looks.

A mention for Mickey too, after a big off in testing the team got the car back together and Mickey brought it home for some valuable points.

Linda, terrific pictures. We were overheating the rear tyres in the race.......I can see why now!!!!!! Could I have a hi-res pic of the flame spitting T350R please for my website?

I'd have to agree with Ceejay about the circuit... Brilliant, and those that didnt make the trip really missed out.. a good mix of fast and slow bits, a real power and handling circuit... I had expected it to be a bit point and squirt but it was nothing of the sort.. lots of gradient changes, camber and bits of banking that you cant see from just looking at the circuit map.


Reminds me in some ways of cadwell, just a bit wider with more run off, although not enough run off for some eh !!!

I'll certainly be shouting for it to be on the calendar for next season.. I even had a nice drive back across the A5, as I wasnt dragging the trailer..


Race two sounds good, sadly I was almost home by then .....


CJ I must say the flames looked bigger from where I was sat !!!!


Also Bens Tuscan seemed to have flames comming out from underneath it at the hairpin...

I travelled in total just under 900miles this weekend, stopped over in south wales friday night and sunday night, camped at the circuit saturday/sunday, my first time at anglesey and was well impressed by the circuit and the racing, well done guys

only disapointment was at the burger van,.......... "2 teas please"
"sorry we havent got tea" came the reply,
"okay then, 2 coffees please"...........
"sorry we havent got coffee either",
"okay then, hot chocolate?"
" no sorry we havent got any hot water!"
why not just say so in thew bloody first place



the mg racing on saturday was good to watch as well.

at least it didn`t rain, but it was certainly windy

had a great run back down on the A5, A470 Sunday evening, some good roads there

Anglesey turned out to be a great weekend.
The TWR guys did a good job out on the track - a good team effort.

CJ - with the flames you were spitting out on the pit straight, we could have had a cracking BBQ
