I don't think the man has any comprehension of the damage he's doing to our sport. Either that or else he just don't give a damn. I'm going out with a group of friends tonight and I know that they will take the mickey out of me for the dreadful reputation it's getting. And I'll have to smile and say that I don't care. But they will know I am lying.
If you were a sponsor would you consider your money well spent?
I can't help but consider that the German interpretation of nazi-themed will be more in line with what everyone else I've spoken to thinks it is, except judges of course. Not that I speak with judges.

I had to take my cat to the Vet for the third time in a couple of weeks yesterday and, for the third time, the Vet had to take his temperature. I muttered that at this rate we'd have to start calling him Max. Both the Vet and her assistant knew enough about the incident in question to find this amusing and now he wants even more press attention?

I doubt he sees it as "our" sport, no matter how large or small our involvement may be. Mosley almost certainly sees it as his sport to do with as he see fit. He is that arrogant.Derek Smith said:

European Convention on Human Rights, Article 10:
"Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. This right will include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authorities and regardless of frontiers."
In other words, in Europe you have the right to hold and express the opinion that someone is a hypocritical, manipulative, double-dealing, egomanical, and vicious little sack of excrement who has disqualified himself from holding office in any decent organisation.
Regarding libel of the Nazi element:
He genuinely may not consciously have been mocking Jews or deliberately acting out a specific Nazi scene, but (as mentioned in an earlier thread) the very fact that, taking into consideration his background and parentage, he chose a German prison - it's illogical to arrive at any other conclusion.
There can only be 2 options:
1. The Nazi inference is all a big misunderstanding, and he is just incredibly naieve, or
2. He knew full well what he was doing, and although objectively there could be a Nazi link, nobody outside those 4 filthy walls would get to know about it.
I think we all know the answer. But either way he can now rely on his cronies to bail him out by using their confidence in him as his armoury. I wonder how much cash has been exchanging hands, and between how many parties?

It is simply extraordinary and - in my mind - gives the lie to Mosley's assertions of no Nazi implications, that still, even now, after all his 5hit that has hit the public fan, he has to my knowledge never once condemned anti-Semitism, Nazism, what his parents got up to, or the mistakes that he himself might have made as a foolish young man. How can this guy expect the world to believe that there were no connotations, which seemed transparent to many of us, when he cannot be bothered to speak out against the underlying opprobrium?
Words are cheap, Thermometer Boy. You use enough of them to know that. Why not give us a few on a subject that matters a lot more than your self-important privacy?

In today's Times, the NOTW said “Woman E and her husband both provided signed witness statements for use in the litigation . . . Woman E’s statement said not only that she was told to expect a ‘German theme’ to the party with Mr Mosley but also that she was told that Mr Mosley had asked for a German Nazi-style scene, and that the party was to be Nazi camp style.”
Interesting that her husband also provided a signed witness statement. Isn't he the ex-MI5 employee?
I hope the jury in the libel trial has a better grasp of history than the judge in the privacy trial. The only time I've ever heard the term "Aryan race" used is in the context of the Nazis' reason for the Holocaust.
