With the drivers dinner only around the corner, don't forget about the Thunder Trophy which will be awarded to the most improved driver of the season.

The winner will be nominated by the drivers themselves. As long as the drivers have registered in the series they are entitled to vote (whether they have raced this season or not).
I'll get a voting form emailed to every registered driver before the Oulton meeting. Just post your vote back to "somebody" (to be decided) and the award will be handed over at the dinner.
Basically, just choose your own criteria. Just vote for the person you think has done better than you would have expected but don't vote for yourself

I saw a 100% performance improvement in his driving between Anglesey and Silverstone

How about consistency... I might be in for a shout then.. my last run of race meetings in the tuscan goes
Pembrey - ECU failure
Snetterton - blocked crank case breather leading to valley gasket failure
Cadwell - Big off ( jammed throttle) followed by repair and Fiery Off in the race ( broken oil line)
Rockingham - dog box finally died after 2.5 seasons of abuse.
Cadwell - Broke spare synchro gearbox
Angelsey - Broke the fixed gearbox
or if your talking improvment, If I finish Oulton without a problem thats got to be one heck of an improvment
Tiz the curse of the series winner I tell thee... Even sam Didnt manage to break it...Since the Taz challenge started in 2000, the overall champion hasnt done a full seaon the following year !!!
