F1 - forcing compromise

why is F1 obsessed with forcing compromise!!! this has really started to piss me off lately.

first we have the qualy shoot-out with the top ten being compromised on qualy speed by having to carry race fuel.

car set-up is compromised at most modern circuits with a mix of long high speed straights and stupid 'technical' twisty infield sections so that you can't get a car that works especially well around any of the track.

the two tyre compounds per race compromises performance too.

and to what end - has the racing improved as a direct result of any of this?

so we get the announcement from bridgestone about next years tyres. instead of trying to make decent tyres, they will make soft tyres that last for one lap and then fall apart. brilliant

why can't they just leave the cars to go as quickly as they were designed to around decent circuits! (heard they are changing Spa for the near future...)
