This decision is absolutely disgraceful. Hamilton clearl;y backed off to let Kimi back into the lead down the start finish straight. there can be no way on earth that a car that has just slowed down can gain a momentum advantage over another(the Ferrari) that is already hard on the throttle. I reckon Bernie is behind this in order to keep the championship alive. A very sad day indeed for F1.

A good race (for a change), on an historic circuit (becoming a rarity), with a fantastic fight at the end (see previous comment), but yet again....another political 'result' (becoming a regular occurrence) .

Arguably Lewis was ahead going into the first part of the Bus Stop

Kimi moved across.

Hamilton moved to avoid him

Hamilton went ahead but then let Kimi through

Hamilton passed him a second time

Kimi got back through

Kimi crashed

Hamilton used his considerable skill to get to the end of the race without crashing in treacherous conditions.

Its called (or used to be called) motor racing....

I'm off to the Revival to watch Fearless Frank.....

PS - I've just phoned the FIA in Paris and left a message on their answerphone complaining in the strongest possible terms. I suggest that anyone who believes in the principles of sport and sporting conduct - anyone who has ever watched a test match - does the same.

We could boycott the next round and watch something else. Or if we are attending the next round, voice our opinions with flags carrying a few words. Unfortunately the next round is in Italy, so probably not much chance of the latter.
