Britcar 24hrs 2008 Promotion on Sky Sports

I have been on my Sky programmer to record it and today's showing has been replaced by golf, I think - something entitled Spruce Meadows??
....and also, if I have identified the correct programme, it is part of a World Motorsport programme. If this is correct, then I may not have enough room on Sky+ - it lasts for 2.5 hours!
If I sound ungrateful for the information, I don't mean to be. I just thought I'd point this out - I may be wrong.

Couldn`t decide whether to post on here or revive my "Mr Happy Posts again" thread.
Just watched pitlane production`s 24 hour big up on Motorsport World. After my moan previously about the lower class cars being ignored I was interviewed at Silverstone, "apparently they`re doing well and we`ve got to interview them". I talk to people for a living, knew what everyone wanted to hear and so wasn`t too surprised when 3 minutes of the footage appeared in the early morning. No I`m not that sad, I recorded it on the sky box.
Apparently I`m now Pete Morris.
After Brand`s Hatch`s error when the 3 second shot of our car was accompanied by "That`s the 911 of Henry Firman and Pete Morris" - (Pete had bailed out at the last minute just before the race which was driven solo winning back to back races) I thought someone at "pitlane productions" might have made the effort this time.
Sadly not.
Don`t know what your TV production budget is this year James but you might want to throw a bit more in the pot for next year to get a decent company.

I produce a press information pack for our entry in particular the 24hrs specficaly to prevent that situation. We can't expect a comentator to know as much about us as we do let alone know who we are unless we've been out drinking with them!
Give one to Brian in commentary, leave a few in the press room and race control, give one the the interviewer etc etc.

You are right of course Simon, although the big names on the car do help a little. One trick would be to take a quick burst of the car I was sat on for the interview as a reference. Actually on second thoughts no, then they might have thought I was Steve Bell and I`d rather they thought I was Pete Morris.
Off to the studio now to have some portrait shots for the press pack driver cards. Where`s my baby oil for the gleaming upper torso shot
