Is any top level motorsport truly 'sport' any more?
(if indeed it ever was!)
'Le Mans' sportscar racing - is always being bu66ered about with but fundamentally, diesel aside most thigs seem hunky dory.
'touring cars' - again unfair diseasel playing field but for a long time it's been interfered with in terms of ballast.... but i still love WTCC in particular
'WRC' seems to be reasonably 'fair' but is unforunately 'dull' compared to the early/mid 90s
'F1' - don't make me laugh etc etc. regulations seem entirely reasonable but with a shoddy one-sided governing body.

we also have the issue of all competing categories being 'knackered' by the FIA:
Group C - everyone likes it and there's competition.. lets ban it
Group B - spectacular - ban it
DTM turns into the ITC and it's the new Group C - okay let's ban it
