I thought Jan Lammers might have been the tricky one, with his 2 Leyton House (March) drives in 92.
I asked the question after seeing Ricardo Patrese congratulate Rubens Barrichello on beating his GP starts record. Rubens still has 5 more years to make it a triple decade.

One of the first I wasn't sure about so had to check was a guy called John Love who always took part in the South African GP every year and almost won it in 1967 but his career was 62-72 only. I found Peter Lovely at the same time, another single race driver albeit with big gaps between races.
Pete Lovely used to get drives from Lotus, especially in US races.
Obviously, starting a career near the end of a decade is very useful for making it into a third decade. Schumacher didnt manage it because he started in F1 in 1991.
I would also query some of the statistics quoted because they probably only refer to World Championship F1 races. Up until the mid 1960s, there were sometimes as many NON WDC F1 races in a season. Also, in the years 1952/53, the WDC was run to F2 regulations.
To be fair, the question really needs to refer to Grand Prix careers - and that of course, throws the stats out as they hardly ever include pre WW2 Grand Prix events, of which there were many. On that score, Prince Bira might be considered because I'm pretty sure he drove in Grand Prix/F1 races in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. What about Novolari? Did he make it into the 50s?
