My 1st post and I'm outraged at the FIA. I wont be watching.

Nope. I couldn't give a toss what happens this year or any until Max and his corrupt administration is gone and replaced by a something impartial.

I missed much of '98 after the Silverstone drive-through fiasco, did the same in '06 after Monza (only watched Japan after hearing that Alonso had won and Ferrari had an almost negligable chance of winning the championship). This time I fear it may well be permanent.

having just read another thread , i have decided to watch monza in the hope that lewis will wipe the floor with kimi and the other one !!!

I can't make my mind up. I feel if the FIA punish Hamilton for racing in a race, then there seems little point given it appears the FIA is in fact Racist against the English. If Kimi was punished for driving into the back of Hamilton as well, that may be a different story.

Probably not from me. I used to watch every GP without fail but my interest is now waning, and since Sunday it's waning faster. the only interest left is now because a Brit is doing rather well, but his efforts are being stymied by a corrupt governing body.
There are more entertaining forms of motor racing where racing and overtaking are not penalised.

If I allowed myself to be uspet by off track decisions by officials, the last GP I would have watched would have been the Spanish GP of 1976.

Hamilton drove into the back of Alonso at Bahrain (a fairly major impact) and Kovalainen at Magny-Cours (a fairly minor impact). Kimi's impact on Hamilton at Spa was similar to that of Hamilton's on Kovalainen.

There was no punishment for Hamilton as both were deemed as racing incidents, which seemed fair, so on that basis Kimi should not be punished for this.

But what's the point? He'll be given a penalty, the 'sport' is hugely corrupt.

I'll be watching. Can't let a few bad apples, even if they are in positions of power, ruin the whole spectacle for me. And yes, I'm sticking with spectacle, not sport, for now (and the foreseeable future).

Well, in all fairness you do appear to be about 6 years old, so will not have seen much decent F1.
