Kimi was never going to do that.

I can't remember who said it, but someone posted something along the lines of "I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at Maranello when they discussed Kimi helping Massa to the championship. Stefano: "OK Kimi, it's time for you to start helping Felipe to the WDC" Kimi: "No.""

I really hoped that he'd take victory at Spa, it would have made the last few races even more exciting.

I want Massa and Lewis to crash out of the next two races, with Kubica finishing second behind Kimi, taking us into the last three rounds like this:

Raikkonen: 77
Kubica: 76
Hamilton: 76
Massa: 74

Now that would be exciting!

Blimey i've never seen him be so passionate.

I think its wrong that he's only 19 points off the head of the championship though. The season has pretty much been about Hamilton and Massa, and they've been doing most of the winning and all of the hard work. They should reward winners more.

I realise the points system was changed because of Schumachers success, but things are very much different now.

the way that points are distributed (and penalties) does not exactly encourage overtaking....

I could try to make a pass for the lead, but I may crash or get a post race penalty, if on the other hand I sit here the other guy may fall off the track or failing that the worst that can happen is dropping 2 points....

So if anyone can then Kimi can.
When he is fired up he is blindingly fast and a hard/brave racer.

The only problem this year is that the Ferrari doesn't like cold/wet races.

Fair enough him saying that now but if he doesnt get a very good result at Monza then Ferrari would be stupid not to put him in a supporting role for Massa. If they dont they could end up with nothing like Mclaren did last year despite the fact they were favourites at the time.

Because you accused me of being a fanboy, and at no point on this forum have I said anything remotely like "If anyone can, Lewis can" or "He's brave and fast" or "a blindingly fast racer".....and then minutes later you come out with what you yourself consider to be a classic dose of 'fanboyism'.

I'm not against being a fan of anybody, but don't use it as an insult, then minutes later do it yourself.

Ferrari didn't win the WDC at Brazil, McLaren lost it at China.

Totally agree. Although Ferrari dont appear as strong now as Mclaren did then i can still see a similar thing happening if they dont pick a driver to push. Then again 5 races to go.

I am not sgging off drivers or teams like some fanboys on here.
People have had a go at me because I am not part of the Hamilton chavvy fanboy gang.
They assume that therefore I must be in the chavvy Ferrari fanboy gang.
This is the limit of their understanding of F1.

Actually I support no driver and no team.
I have said good things on here about lots of different F1 drivers.
And what I said about Kimi just happens to be true. He is the fastest of the current crop of F1 drivers. And he proved last year that when he gets the bit between his teeth he can come back from a long way behind in the championship.
Saying that about Kimi does not make me a fanboy.

Lewis has fantastic car control, is always agressive and his loose driving style is exciting to watch.
Does that make me a Hamilton fanboy?

Alonso is the best all round driver currently in F1.
Does that make me an Alonso fanboy?

Vettel and Kubica are good enough to upset the established order.
Does that make me a Vettel/Kubica fanboy?

Honestly some people on here need to grow up and learn to appreciate F1 more. There is a lot more to it than Hamilton.

Believe me, I'm no 'fanboy' as you put it. I regard all the drivers as excellent.
