Quick question.

I amended the wiki a short while ago to correct some innacurracies (e.g. It was Irvine that was banned in Brazil 1994, not Verstappen, and the Ferrari bargeboard incident was due to a measurement irregularity and NOT about no performance advantage). The wiki has now reverted back to the original. I thought the purpose of a wiki was to keep it up-to-date with accurate infomation. None of the information I supplied was inaccurate, yet it has been removed.

Why?

I made a modification to add to the 2005 Indy entry but did not change or delete any other points.

Can you ask the mods who removed it?

Whenever I have contributed in relation to someone else's entry, I've added a clarification (apart from correcting spelling errors), rather than actually deleting or altering someone else's words.

If the first 2 posters were editing the same entry simultaneously, wouldn't the last one to press 'submit' wipe out the changes of the first?

Very likely, given that the PH 'Wiki' (sic) functionality isn't a Wiki at all, it's just a special type of thread where only the latest post is displayed.
So it is highly likely that simultaneous edits will collide.

Nothing has been deleted - it looks like dumbfunk was editing it at the same time as you, and his change overwrote yours.
