Cool. Nice to see that it's just the fking media, again.

I sort of think that I would enjoy F1 more without any media coverage, except the actual race-session on TV. At least way we wouldn't have so many piss-boilers between races.

this is why i take anything like this with a pinch of salt these days as youll never know whats going on even when they are on tv interviewing them they can often be cut to make it seem worse than it is.

OK, what he said was sensationalised by the media but it was stronger than what he's trying to make out in that column. I always did think the comments were a bit rich coming from the man who practically forced Massa into the pit wall at Fuji.

Don't misunderstand me, I don't think either driver did wrong, they were racing and I like to see strong racing.

Great article, much better than Heiki's last year but surely he's way off here - the Aussies are famed/respected throughout sport for exuding just those qualities.

that is a BIT RICH!! thats exactly what the aussies behave like and love usually when its their sportsmen/women

apart from that - brilliant, honest and accurate. Well said Mr Webber - i always liked him.

When he talking about moving around in the braking zones - does he mean Lewis's back end stepping out under braking? or is he talking about car position on the circuit?

personally i can't see a problem with either unless he was losing control alot

He must mean changing line, which is a bit of a grey area, rather than his back end stepping out.

Seems I have been a tad harsh on Webber. I sincerely hope he gets the drive his talent deserves before he leaves F1.

a force india? the guys great over 1 lap buy fairly average as soon as the lights go green, hes been outscored by dc in the last 2 years, now hes finally going to beat him just as dc gets his pipe and slippers out. Webber is a never was (hes never won anything in the junior categories) and never will be once vettel blows him into the weeds next year.

I don't know what the stats say but surely you can't be suggesting that DC has been the faster driver?

Webber is one of the better drivers in F1, would love to see him head 2 head with Alonso at Renault or Vettel?

Lets face it.

The only way Webber is able to get himself some column inches is to talk about the championship contenders.

I used to like him and think he was possibly the next 'big thing'.

But over the last 3 years I've come to the conclusion he's just a mouth on a stick.

Webber hasn't had any time in a competitive team, unfortunately. He is, IMHO, the unluckiest driver in the current F1 grid.

He has outperformed every team-mate in his career, except David Coulthard in 2007.

Webber is Mr average, nothing more. OK in GT/sportscars but thats it, there are far better F1 drivers without a seat than him like De La Rosa and Wurz.

Webber is in a decent car, I'm sure Vettel won't be having problems next year like Webber and Coulthard have. As for his comments about Aussies not liking people with confidence he must be joking, Aussie sportsmen are amongst the most ego based big heads out there. The only top Aussie sportsmen who didn't fit this category was Andrew Johns (Rugby league). Totally down to earth, didn't take himself too seriously and enjoyed a shandy or two.
