That's a new record, folks. The most number of WRC title wins in history.
Although the level of competition is pretty light these days, he deserves a hearty congratulations for this crowning achievement.
Now, if only the FIA would stop screwing the WRC... Let's hope the new regs breath fresh life into the sport, eh?

Indeed well done Loeb.
Despite winning 10 rallies this year I really think he had to work hard for it.
Looking forward to seeing Hirvonen and Latvala's talent grow even more next year.
I also think that Ford need to take a look at their side protection again, two very nasty accidents this year resulting in broken bones.

The biggest is probably the cars. The new reg cars will be S2000/GrpN-based, with spec aero and turbos. The hope is to reduce costs so that more manufacturers will be tempted to join, increasing the field, and therefore the level of competition (not to mention money).
Considering how many manufacturers are producing Super 2000 cars, the new regs will hopefully attract more factory or semi-factory teams.
So these new regs then...what do people think? Good thing / bad thing?
To be honest I'm not sure I fully understand the implications at the moment, but going back to being based on road cars, rather than scratch-built specials, sounds like a good thing.
I don't understand how it will work with 4wd. Presumably you can take a road car and fit a 4wd drivetrain to it?

What was the primary reason for the banning of Group B? Was it due to the cars being considered unsafe, or due to the crowds being to difficult to control?On a positive note - well done to Loeb.

Five-time world rally champion Sebastien Loeb will drive for Red Bull Racing in an official Formula One test at Barcelona later this month.
The Frenchman, who sealed his fifth successive title in Japan on Sunday, will have a preliminary shake down at Silverstone prior to the test in Spain.
Loeb drove Renault's F1 car in a demonstration test at Paul Ricard last year and is no stranger to circuit racing, having driven Pescarolo's LMP1 car in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2005 and 2006.
He is looking forward to the more serious Red Bull outings, which have been arranged through his Citroen WRC team's partnership with the energy drinks firm.
"I'm absolutely delighted by this present from Red Bull to celebrate my fifth title," he said. "I already got the chance to test a Formula One car last year, but this time the circumstances will be a little different.
"I'm now going to find myself in the midst of all the regular F1 drivers during an official test. I just hope that I don't make a fool of myself!
"I'd like to clear up any speculation about me possibly switching to F1 next year, I'm definitely going to be driving a Citroen C4 WRC in the World Rally Championship."
