What happened to all the penalties at Brazil?

We had...

-Cars colliding at the start
-Drivers forcing others off the track at the first corner.
-Pit crews releasing drivers dangerously into the paths of others
-Hamilton winning the championship

Yet not a single car was put under investigation for anything. Were the stewards asleep this time? Whatever happened to them for the duration of the weekend, it was just so refreshing to just watch the boys race around, with none of that pointless interference we've seen of late.

None of them involved silver or red cars.

If Fuji rules were applied Trulli should have been given a drive through. If Singapore/Fuji rules were applied Button should have been given a fine/drive through for cutting in on his pit exit, he was behind the other car at the white line but overtook it into the pit exit. I guess the Brazilian stewards were too busy watching the other cars to try and spot the smallest of discretions.

I think the FIA are more than aware of what would happen if they did anything to alter the findings. I do wonder though how much of this medling was to advantage Ferrari and how much was to create an exciting finish?

After a season of ridiculous stewards decisions, it reminded me why I love motorsport.

I believe it's to create tension and suspense right to the wire not to favour any team in particular, and as Bernie said, in the pit lane, "It's getting harder each year"
Hopefully they'll leave well alone next season........but I doubt it
