Eddie Jordan on CH4 news

Anyone else catch EJ on Ch4 lunchtime news ?

He didn't have anything positive really to say about Lewis
Aggressive and lack luster performances and he doesn't think that he's going to win multiple champs

Quite surprised by his reactions

He was on BBC News 24 this morning, I thought he summed it up quite well........ 'Well done to Lewis for winning, but he's very lucky he won".

The thing is, he may well have said the same thing had Massa won. Neither driver has been without fault this year and I think both of them would be considered somewhat lucky to be WDC for various reasons.

Definitely. Luck often plays a part, Massa luckly stewards intervened, Hamilton lucky Massas engine blew up, Massa lucky Lewis had puntures... the list goes on and on.

Hamilton unlucky last season too! You'll always need luck on your side IMO.

Eddie and I are both aware of this, as is everyone else, what he meant was that they could have played it differently, less defensively and guaranteed the WDC yesterday rather than leaving it in the lap of Glock Gods to a certain extent.

Just checked BBC News web site for the Jordon interview so all could see what was said, it's not there maybe in was on Sky News.

On Radio 4 he seemed to be saying that Hamilton deserved it but still needed to mature a bit as a driver. He also said that he had the potential to be another Schumacher (success wise - not ethics wise).

Lunchtime BBC,would have had a different strategy himself but not down to luck and has the ability to win multiple championships, better racing than defending a position,no controversy just steady eddie.Tempus

Well hopefully Lewis can look forward to attainig the dizzy heights of running a 3rd rate F1 team in about 20 years, like our Eddie.

That's my take on it. Each of them has driven some brilliant races, and each has had some howlers. Going in to the final race, I'd have been happy for either of them to take the championship.

I also think Ferrari were pretty lucky to get the WCC - when their car has been good, it's been great, but I think over the season the McLaren has maybe been a better compromise.

I don't think Ferrari can look back on this year as one of their best.

I couldn't call it on which was the best car. It swung backwards and forwards over the season. At the end of the day, Kimi did a much better job than Heikki (and when you consider Kimi's string of no scores is quite sobering for Heikki) and so Ferrari won it easily.
