He was the one who made ITV coverage bearable.

Carry on the grid walk I really enjoy it
Red button camera views
Customisable telemetry - not sure how they would do this but having it on my laptop over the past few races has been a fantastic insight!
Less focusing on the people in the pits for gods sake! I want to see the race not random peoples faces every time someone overtakes
Show the support races?
I would also really love it if they did a retro series on Sunday morning - replay of 86 season for example, I cant get enough of these old clips of youtube

i love both but cant help feeling that one will get bumped for fogeyfile or similar.....

If the BBC want to do it right then they need the whole F1 Digital+ team.

But, having said that, I do understand the problem they, the BBC, have, they need to aim the programme at the casual viewer not just at the hardened nutters F1 fans.

Did anyone else notice that yesterday Brundle seemed to be explaining a lot more than usual - ITV expecting more casual viewers?

You are right, I caught a headline that said there were record figures, dont know any more than that though I am afraid
