Championship Status 2009 ?

I think we have. but not sure, I heard something about a yellow card and the turnout at oulton being enough for nect years status.

I'm sure that John has mentioned to me, and at the drivers meeting, that the MSA had granted Championship status for two seasons. We were on a 'yellow card' due to running with low average numbers during 2008(I think we needed to average 18 per race to meet the requirement), and this means that there won't be the Championship status carried forwards into 2010 unless we get the grids up through the 2009 season. I assume that John has disappeared off to SA for his visit but if he hasn't I'm sure that he'll be along to let us know.
I have to say that I'm optimistic that we will achieve bigger grids in the 2009 season with several potential new racers coming along, and with the liklihood of the 20th Anniversary meeting at Donington bringing out some more cars to play. Bugger the credit crunch, get out and have a go we're only this way once!!

my griff is now sold to a newbie who is brining it out, so theres another person for next year. Im very optimistic about next years grids.

Yep should be a good season next year.... I think our average this year was something daft like 17.8 !!!!
