Britcar night out at the Autosport Show

Chaps,
This has been mentioned in passing before, but, I think that someone needs to take responsibility. So, here goes.
On the basis of needing to eat and wanting to share a
or two with some Britcar buddies, we've booked some space at Jimmy Spice's in Solihull on the evening of Friday 9th January. You can choose from Indian, Thai, Chinese or Italian food - or all of them, if you're really hungry. There's a decent bar there and should be good for a late night of talking nonsense.
We're hoping that JT, Claire, David & the other Britcar chaps would want to come along too.
This will be an informal evening (and JT won't be allowed to speak!!!) and we're trying to put together a small souvenir of the 2008 season, courtesy of insuremotorsport.com, for all those that attend. The cost will be a very modest £30.00 per head (or stomach) and this will include some beer to kick the evening off with.
More details to follow, but, if you're interested, please let me know. We will be asking for payment before the event please.

Are you thinking of introducing some form of eyes to stomach ratio to decide class / entry fees ? If there is any form of competition on the night can I declare Steve as no longer my partner and Mad Pete will be my co-eater for the evening

It's about 10 mins by cab. I think most of us will be heading in the same direction. We're staying overnight at one of the NEC hotels.Ian Lawson

Andy, definitely going to be there. Have left messages with Steve Bell, Steve from Jaz and Pete Morris. I'll let you know their response, but there's some eating capacity there. Given it's Pete's local curry circuit he'll be dialled in and looking on top form. Don't expect too many popadoms if you sat within arm's length
