Anyone up for this.
JR has OK'd me to sort some Paddock Wear for Teams and Punters for this Season. Should help make us all look more professional around the paddock etc
High quality Fruit of loom etc and embroidered.

I wouldn't be interested in team wear as we have our own.
Given that this is the 20th Anniversary year of the TVR Tuscan Challenge, I think there would be mileage in a T shirt with the orignal TVR Tuscan Challenge logo, and I would buy one (subject to it being good quality and no bloody polyester in it!!). This one isn't quite right, but you know the logo I mean:

Im quite happy for the ashton logo to be used, but like AH says above I would rather pay a little bit more for somthing quality ( I like the FOTL stuff) than something which will fall apart after a few washes.

All will be FOTL or better, and JR has all the original logos etc so once he's dug those out for us, I'll get peoples opinions.
Only want to do stuff that will sell (obviously) so will be good stuff.
can also do you own stuff, once logos are created, so if you have you own team stuff, we can put it on for you pretty cheaply.

Andy - as I'm sure you are already all too aware, the biggest cost on relatively small runs of embroidered clothing is the cost of the initial stitch set up/programme or disc. The TVR Tuscan Challenge logo is, by definition, already set up and paid for and JR will know which suppliers already have it.
I'm pretty sure Mardens have it and I know Corbeau Seats have it as my original Tuscan Challenge seat from them had it embroidered into it for me.
You've probably been through all this already, sorry!

One of my customers is a Promotions company so Im fixed up for that kind of stuff, at a cracking price... same company that did the midland F1 stuff and do all of Mike Jordans gear :-)
It is worth getting some teamwear done.. if you dont already... its great to give to people that give you a hand or sponsors, and we've even sold a fair bit to fans..

Thats it Andy, but the big guys charge a premium for the stuff and most of it is put out anyway. These will come at a vastly reduced rate once the artworks generated.
If we get enough people, the rates will fall as I said.
Theres 30 cars registered, if everyone has 2 shirts we can get everything done and pay around £15 for a Poloshirt with 2 embroidered logos, and have the option of other lines.
Get the Logos generated with a competitive company (this is one of my customers) will be much better in the long run as we can do the rest of the stuff with a bigger margin which will add to the season coffers or just produce cheap merchandise for promotional purposes.

I suspect you don't need much in the way of artwork or stitch patterns done though. The old Tuscan Challenge logo, TVR logo, John's lion logo etc all exist already in stitch patterns, the first in a number of sizes. Just get JR to tell you which companies have them and there is no set up charge.

I run the company that provides the clothing for the TVR Car Club. We also did all the TVR clothing for the Race of Champions event at Wembley last year.
Over the last few weeks I had started putting together a collection of clothing that I was going to present to the Car Club next week with a view to supporting the Tuscan Challenge and Speed Champioship.
Anything connected with TVR gets my full support, i.e. we don't charge set up costs etc.
