Looks like F1 is about to get their biggest PR story ever...

News stories from the new USA F1 team are saying that they want to get Danica into a car for testing purposes...

I think this really could be great news for F1, might steal some of Lewis' thunder, but would be interesting to see how she compares to some of those drivers further back in the grid.

Oh I'll grant you there is nothing wrong with the way she looks, although I'd love to see the comments made if Vittel or Hamilton tried that sort of publicity stunt.

I have heard a fair few things though from those in the know (but nothing I would care to post up here) which clouds my opinion.

She is Useless on anything bar an Oval - just can't get the hang of Road course at all, and if you can't crack that then you aren't really a racing driver. Just Marketing fluff. This has nothing to do with her being a bird, I just don't see her being any good, if she was in NASCAR she woul NOT last a season without being dropped. Only there cos she is Daddies Girl

In a way I'd like to see her do it so we could all laugh at her being dead last all the time.

She is very much the Big I am in the IRL - never going to be more than a top 5 driver at best (and that on Ovals (Absolutely SUCKS in anything that involved stopping starting and turing right er and then left!!

Like your thinking but we were talking F1 and Alex was beaten to that claim in tin tops by Clay Reggazoni (sp). That said i think he has been the most successful. There is also a chap in the UK who was racing a converted 911 for years (not seen him about for a while though).
