What about Pedro Diniz?

Or Taki Inouie? Didn't he get punted off the circuit then get hit by the medical car as it came to help him. I swear I have seen that clip on youtube.

Rememvering Hentons F2 championship year reminds me of Stephen South

I really thought he would make it, but chosing a disasterously uncompetetive McLaren drive and then having a bad accident in Can Am ruined what could have been a great top line career, IMO at least

I remember thinking he might be 'the next big thing' as a F1 Brit, but he lost a leg in that accident. I once asked one of the Autosport journos (on their website) what became of him. No further involvement in motor sport, apparently.

I mean him not looking below Formula One for driving talent. Rosset was a good driver in F3, not the best perhaps, but he had talent. Harsh of someone like Brundle from his commentary booth to say things like that when Rosset was in actual fact, driving a nail... I mean, a Footwork and a Lola... give a guy a chance.

He was driving a Tyrrell during their final season,yes car was crap but his team mate p155ed all over him.
