As the title suggests, if you could only drive one car on one circuit for one lap what would it be? You're allowed to take the circuit 'in period' if it has been modified since. Because I had huge trouble deciding I will allow a reserve. Here's mine to kick us off:

Lotus 98T in qualifying trim, Brands Hatch GP circuit, 1986

My reserve:
Porsche 956, Nurburgring Nordschleife, 1983

Hey, my first big race event was also the BOAC 1000 at Brands and it also pissed down all day, me and a mate went there on public transport, train to somewhere (Sevenoaks?) then a bus... We had free tickets because his mum worked for BOAC but I would have thought it was more like 1968 or 69? Did it rain every year at the BOAC 1000? If not then I guess I must have been at the same event! We'd have been 13...
