RBS are still signed up for the 2010 season and will honour that contract

5-6 seasons is a reasonably good run for a big sponsor not on one of the top 2-3 teams isn't it? They come and go a bit and Williams might have been preparing to find a main sponsor sooner.

Williams actually offer a very good sponsorship package, they give good service to their backers and I have been impressed with how they 'sell' themselves.

There are 'investors' out there but pitching the package and growing the client is where the skill lies.

Must be a recession on if the banks have to close down their freebie weekends in favour of keeping the bonuses going.

I think the problem lies with which government ministers can claim a 'freebie' off of us taxpayers as guests of RBS.

On the bright side, they've got another 2 full seasons of RBS support. Not that bad really considering.
