Anybody else see Kris Meeke win the Brazil round of the IRC at the weekend?

A great drive - won by nearly half a minute.

Could this be the start of something big?

Lord knows we need another rally hero.

Yes, good to see Kris Meeke winning in Curitiba, making up for his crash on the Monte.

I've been keeping part of an eye on him over the last 3 years.

Very good, but he does spend an awful lot of time arriving at the end of stages without his car.

he is very good, but massively underrated. Constantly driving unfancied equipment, is it any wonder he goes off trying to make up for its deficiencies.

he's a modern day Tony Pond methinks

Brilliant result after Monte - I expected him to disappear off into mediocrity after that but looks like he might be disappearing off into the distance. Fingers crossed for a great season!

Superb win at the weekend for Kris. Just hope that when he comes to Scotland in November he does as well. Sorry to repost on such an old topic but thought it was better than starting a new one!

No apologies needed mate.

Meeke drove superbly, didn't put a wheel wrong which was impressive given the pressure he was under.

That's three on the trot, on gravel, tarmac and with some heavy rain thrown in for good measure.

This guy is the real deal.

I like the Peugeot ad featuring him. "He's Meeke, but not mild."
