Anyone actually interested in the Citroen WR Championship?

I'm watching it on Dave right now, its so boring they feel the need to bring in random fat blokes who know nothing about motorsport at all.

Turns out I dont care, I thought I did but the past few years of loeb winning everything easily and only 2 maufacturers who cared has done it for me. Along with no tv coverage I barely even check the results on crash.net now.

The cars are boring, the format is boring and the TV coverage is unexciting.

More manufacturers, simpler rules and longer stages (including night stages) would get me interested again. I have no beef with Loeb winning everything; good for him. But it's a shame he's dominating in such a dull era.

I dont mind loeb winning, I just wish it wasnt so easy for him. Nobody is on the same level as him and even if they were, they cant get a car to show it.

Solberg is up there with him I reckon - pity he's been hamstrung with below par scoobies for years.

I agree, it's a bit of a joke now, although nice to see Petter's still got it. He destroyed Sordo in a 3 year old Xsara!

His Xsara is (or atleast it was in the last rally) also a bit down on power compared to the works teams. I hope someone offers him a proper seat next year.

WRC has been waining for a while and this season i doight ill pay any attention this season, i like seeing the PWRC and JWRC but the coverage is pretty poor on freeview.

Odd isn't it? Millions spent in producing and promoting WRC and I wouldn't give you tuppence for it.

Irish rallying all done on a budget and to be fair its pretty good.

Maybe WRC organisers should take note

i love rally. the idea of flying through the forest completely sideways at 100mph is amazing.. but its only really great for about 10minutes of viewing. Kind of like formula one of late. Loeb is an immense driver but he has no real competition to show just how good he is. I cannot see for a minute why citroen are in the championship. I hope to god someone convinces companies to join the party and make it a proper championship with some credibility again!

ps. Richard Burns was and always will be the greatest british driver

His Xsara has a major advantage as it's running active diffs which the current cars arnt allowed to use, he should be quickest on the loose stuff in that car.

Rules changing so that everybody has to comply is one thing; rules changing just for newer cars, but older cars are unaffected? Now that's madness for you!

Ogiers mistakes were numerous, avoidable and showed a lack of maturity, dont think he warrants the drive (yet). Id like to see Atkinson back and also Solberg in a works C4

i thought Wilson did ok this rally. 5th is a good result, a fastest stage time a very good result. He just has to work out how to do that from the beginning of the rally.
