It would seem that there was a technical glitch on my ISP and I got this blog from the future.

Me and Kile-E are going to have a go at running a racing team in the series that Murray Walker does. Kev reckoned he knew someone who could get us stuff and with the job seeker bonuses from the Jobcentre Kev reckons we’d have enough money.

Got a problem. Went down the JC and they said they’d sponsor us but gave us too much money. We’re now over the new limit that Mossy bloke set for this season.

Everything’s good now. We took on two drivers, Cy and Crow and we found that we had to pay their new licences, which Mossy had put up in line with inflation and now come to just over £2,000,000 each and that leaves us just under the new limit of £4000 for the whole season.

Not so good. We’ve started to get the stuff together but Crow (his real name’s Brian but as he got his CRO number two days after his tenth birthday we thought it’s be a good nickname) got nicked when he found the wheels, tyres, front suspension and chassis. Brief reckons he’ll get com service, probably 100 hours, so that means we’ll lose him for a day or two.

Kile-E got the list of places we’ll have to race at. She stole a map but, silly cow only got one for Europe and Britain – I mean, you don’t nick TomToms from hatchbacks, do you? – and these don’t show where any of the racing places are apart from Monaco. Another problem is that they take into account the baby sitting allowances we get for Gender from the JC. That’s put us £15,000 over the limit again. We’ll try and get Crow fined.

Got the engine today. It’s from McLaren. Nice bit of kit. Only cost £400. It seems that they have to charge that after they did some press release or other a couple of years ago about Mossy. Must tell Kile-E not to say anything to the press.

No problem with Kile-E and press releases. There’s no press coverage of the races. That’s good cause I don’t want the JC knowing that I ain’t looking for jobs. This is getting good now. I’ll let you know how things go.

Got the cars on the trailer with no problem and we're off to Monaco. There was a problem with Gender and her schooling but as we said, you can't do us for taking her out from shcool as she don't go to one.

My watch says 3 March but everyone else says its the 6th. If that's right then we're going to miss the Monaco thing.

All settled now. We told that little bloke who knew my grandad, which is more than my grandmother did, when he sold cars in the East End of London about us being late an he said no problem he'll put it back to the next weekend.

We didn't do too well. They have these blokes who come round and look at your cars. I mean, we had good tread on most of the tyres but we had to shave it all off. Where's the sense in that? But Gender vomitted over one of them and they all left. Crow got himself nicked so we could only race one car and that broke down before the end of the first lap. Still, third ain't bad for a first attempt. Off to some country out east now.
