Just read this on Yahoo news . . Coulthard is on standby in case any of the other 2 red bull drivers cannot compete for any reason.

Be great if he got another drive after his s hort lived Brazil race

Anybody heard whether DC is out kicking Webber's dodgy leg or not?

It strikes me as something you couldnt just do on the spur of the moment, and this arrangement would require a lot of planning:

DC would need to renew his superlicence

DC would need new team racing suit, helmet etc

RBR would need to negotiate some sort of contract / change in current terms with DC

DC would need to work it around his contract with BBC

So im guessing they have had him lined up for a while just in case.

Wonder what the odds are on him getting into the points if he does race - their new car is supposed to be pretty decent, but then again he hasnt had any practice in it (or has he?)
