BCC launch brand new F1 News show :)

If we've not already got some fantastic coverage aleady, they've just announced a new news show:

Watch the BBC's new F1 news show

The BBC News channel will be presenting a new show dedicated to F1
The BBC News Channel is producing a new show devoted to Formula 1 this season.

Inside F1 will be broadcast at 1830 every Friday of a Grand Prix weekend and will combine preview, review and behind-the-scenes analysis.

The show will be presented by Dan Walker and will feature regular contributions by Murray Walker and the BBC F1 team at the races.

The programme will be a mix of fun and the hard news features that have established the channel's reputation.

If you miss the original broadcast at 1830, then you can watch it again at 22.30 or go to the Formula 1 web site and the red button to watch it at your own leisure.

All hail the BBC - great value for money on the licence fee now

Excellent! Would perhaps be better on BBC2 though. Still, something else to add to Sky+!

I was just setting this up and noticed there's a ch5 show Mobil 1 The Grid at 7:30 tonight that has some interviews and looks like will also cover over formula

Its running every 17 mins of so on the red button - not great to be honest - Shame as it puts the rest being transmitted by the BBC to shame. I hope the main event broadcast is vastly superior to this 'news' programme.

It's odd isn't it.

I watched a bit where they said something along the lines of "if we said diffusers chances are you don't know what it means, here's someone who does to explain it".

Cut to an animation that explains KERS and slicks...

I think it's strange to say here's essentially here's a piece of video explaining diffusers then show something completely different!
