Tried Googling but without much joy. Does anyone know if HD will feature at all in 2009 seasons i.e. Donnington?

There was a bit of warbling on the Beeb a couple of days ago about the HD issue. They firmly put the ball into Bernie the Dwarf's court by saying that his broadcast company did not currently provide pictures in HD format and they would not be able to provide HD pictures until HD cameras were used at the circuits.

something wrong there, been in HD for a while, they were showing the HD feed in cinema's last year.

only bit that was not HD was the on-board stuff

The cinema stuff wasn't in HD.

It's a standard up-scaled feed.

Sorry but the cinema feed was not HD, it was upscaled SD.

As has been said many time on PH F1 will not be in HD on the BBC this year because Bernie (who sell the TV pictures to the TV companies) wants money for it.
