THE CHAIN - BBC Sneak Preview

Blatantly nicked from another forum
That doesn't show it in it's best light, the better bit which was shown on the BBC News at Six can be seen again here ...24 minutes in.

I noticed this too, but can't remember where I heard it - was it on some of the online preview stuff they've been doing? If so, could just be rights issues meaning they have to use a generic version... (I say in dire hope)
It was on the very short BBC trailer for the Australian GP date.I wasn't just hearing things then?

Got to have The Chain in BBC F1 coverage but I think the intro graphics look very cheap and nasty. When Toytota sponsored itv F1 they had very nice and expensive looking cgi sequences, an x-ray'd car on a dyno type thing if I remember correctly. To be fair though Toyota's f1 budget was more than the BBC's entire licence fee fund

Yes, the graphics are miserable.
I'd happily go back to the old "montage of last season's footage" to be honest, rather than spending gazillions on substandard cgi.

I'm sure Teppic and 24lemons are right. There'll no change (I hope).
I've heard Murray Walker say on TV that he'd once bumped into Mick Fleetwood, and didn't know who he was at first, and then learned of the significance after.
Years ago on Grand Prix, circa 87/88, they actually did a feature on Fleetwood Mac and The Chain.I've heard Murray Walker say on TV that he'd once bumped into Mick Fleetwood, and didn't know who he was at first, and then learned of the significance after.
