When was the last time a new team took the front row?

although Stewart and Amon were driving for different teams ,Tyrrell and March works team,but I suppose it still counts.Shuvi said:

Won a race first time out, he was 11th on the grid.It was the first time any team had taken the front row of the grid since Mercedes at the French GP in 1954. Although I'm sure a pedant will also say that Alfa Romeo did it in 1950 because that was the first year of F1.

Was this the last time this happened ? It seems maybe it was (replace rooky team with rooky manufacturer)

There was no other Tyrrell in that race.I don't think it was 1972, it was 1970 that Tyrrell first entered and he was on pole as I said above but that was a single car only of Stewart.

In 1970 Tyrell didn't build their own cars, they used a shiny new March & gave that manufacturer a debut pole.
This would mean that Brawn's achievement is thus a pole for debut team/manufacturer as opposed to Stewart's achievement of a debut pole for a manufacturer.
However as 1 car was built with Honda's money the other with a bank's (I think) you could argue that neither of the acknowledged manufacturer's deserve the credit.
