What is going on with bgt this year are they trying to kill it off, race at donny postponed not moved racing at knockhill even tho all of us voted against it, also the same weekend as lemans, race at spa invitation only so no points, increased cost for entries, fuel that doesnt work????????

Seems to me that an idea comes along that works, so they complicate things with performance equalisation and the likes. It all turns into a circus and before you know it the interest and passion is gone and the decline starts. Keep it simple, stupid?

FIA GT is the same, two one hour races on seperate days........great for tv and sponsors, not great for spectators, need to budget both time and money for two days, but why bother because the element that made it special in the first place has gone. No more leisurely stroll around the circuit watching from different corners and getting a real feel for the race, no sooner has it started and its nearly over.

Thank god for the French who do the right thing for the passion and let the commercial side adapt around it. All that really matters is the right concept that feels truthful to the spirit of the endeavour.
