Who watched the Britcar tv program

I thought it was much better than the 24hr coverage.
Good parts
Nice build up
Not so much focus on just the front runners
Some good in car footage.
Good commentary
Bad parts
Very difficult to follow the race (not easy I know in multi class / 120hr race condensed in to 60 mins)
It would have been nice to have some graphic showing positions during the race coverage (to follow the progress)
It would be nice to follow up on some of the incidents / retirements to find out what happened (IE paragon Porsche)
Only shows the top 10 finishers / no mention of class winners
But over all much better than the previous coverage.
And I actually watched the whole hour, unlike the 24hr race coverage.
Over all 7/10 given the budget and difficulty covering a race like this.

I thought it was alot better but was flat, i have to admit to fast forwarding some bits, having watched the ginetta programme before it, the britcar stuff was just very slow paced action in comparison, think the 1hr programme doesn't help, 30mins would have been far better and more punchy, more time spent with the teams and personalities would have helped, maybe some insight into the cars as well
James, the fact it was on Sky Sports 3 'primetime', and it was our own programme (not stuck 2 hours into Motorsport World) is a terrific step forward.
The coverage was good on the budget provided - fingers crossed it's here for the season, to enable "fans/sponsors" to start to connect with the series & teams.
Well done to all involved.

The first three replies all have valid points to make. It is fantastic to have coverage, on your own show. Would have preferred a more dynamic production with car and driver profiles etc but that is being picky, all in all I thought it was a job very well done. I,m pleased to see that the times have been changed to around midday for Rockingham as this will improve light conditions and hopefully bring the cars to life on screen. I,m going to Rockingham next Monday to checkout positions for filming the next Youtube production. Look forward to seeing you all at the race. I just need to clear a few points up. This is 100% free, you don,t need an equity card, unless you make a complete performance of it. I am an amateur film maker looking to work on projects I enjoy. You can see a link to my last vid on the Britcar website, which was made on the fly for the Tiger Coffee team, the next time I intend to cover the majority of the GT class and do a more organised job of it.
