Dutch Supercar at Rockingham

Sadly we have had to withdraw from the meeting this weekend. We sustained engine damage in testing at Easter and the new piston rings required for the rebuild were originally due on Monday, then Tuesday, now Thursday..... and we have simply run out of time to have the engine back in the car for testing at 1pm on Friday.

I'll be along on Saturday evening for a beer, but unfortunately the car will be staying at home.

I've spoken with Craig and wanted to say thanks on here for the offer. For the engine to work in our installation I'd need to fit our dry sump system and front end, plus we don't have a suitable map... in all it would be more work than fitting our own and not much difference in time - and I wouldn't want to risk someone else's engine without knowing the map was safe for it.
