Ecclestone in a spin

Ecclestone has hit out at the teams now. After upsetting Mosley he's now suggestd that the teams, whom most of us wil remember supported a budget cap, don't want a budget cap.

Pitpass, in a very uncharacteristic attack on the movers and shakers in F1 (that don't normally attack the hand that fees itself), have suggested that Ecc's comment that:

"Odd isn't it that at a time when everyone else in the commercial world is trying to cut costs and save money, we offer them a plan and some are not happy."

is at odds with his demand for more money each year from the circuits and the demand that in order to run a GP, Silverstone should spend £millions on 'improvements. And, of course that the british government - read taxes - should fund it.

It would be easier if we just paid it directly to him.

Ross Brawn was interviewed by the BBC afterwards but did not comment on earlier speculation that he could be removed as FOTA's technical chief, or prevented from receiving Honda's owed commercial income.
