Mosley Years - looking for links

I'm after links to articles on-line regarding the Molsey years and, if possible, articles on the last few days of J M Balestre. I've got some of my own of course but if you have any which you found interesting and enlightening then I'd be extremely grateful if you could send them through to me.

I thought about it but I haven't sufficient insurance.

My son is a journalist working for ITN and when F1 becomes of interest to non-specialist media he often phones for a briefing about the specific item. It has got to the stage where I prepare one for him with sources and references (and the occasional prejudiced but unevidenced comment that he refuses to include).

The stuff that comes on the 'line' is very brief and it is apparent that many outlets follow what others have said with little or no critical assessment or checking of sources or veracity so you often get an inaccuracy repeated and it eventually becomes accepted fact.

What I want to do is produce a reference on-line that those wishing to write an in-depth article, or even a short factual one, can refer to.

I know many people consider that journos have limited desire to be accurate but the reverse is in fact the norm. So my idea was just to create a database of links with summaries of content so that if any journo wants to do the job properly, all they have to do is log on and chase the story.

The truth is not out there – yet.

Not quite online, but one source which may be useful if someone has it is the DVD version of Motorsport magazine which is available for the 80's and 90's - there must have been quite a bit of coverage there. If I come across anything online I will let you know.

i found these little bits today. they involve mosely but i was looking more into the incredibly twisted accounts of F1. the first one has a paragraph or two about him and Balestre - the others just make for very interesting reading - not that i'm clever enough by half to understand it all (except to know that bernie is a twisted genius)
