Reaction to the Proposed Bute Motorsport Endurance Series?

I thought there might have been some reaction to the plans for another endurance type series as announced in Motorsport News yesterday. Anyone got any views?

No, 'fraid not. MN doesn't appear to have an "on-line edition". Its in the paper version, though, you'll just have to buy a copy, sorry.

ALMS has 16 cars???

We did look at it at Britcar, rules and regs are a problem, it would be a nightmare....

I wish them all the best, and as for a 24hr race, the nurburgring was down by 76 cars from normal level, entry fees have gone from 2100 euros, without the extras to 4600euros, Spa 24hr has 34 cars, and belgium 24hr had 24cars last year, we are in ressession...even LeMans was not differcult to get into this year. Marc needs to learn there are plenty of friends in the pit lane who would like and have great ideas....then ask them to pay!!! He has created a fantastic series, it would be great for GT cup and Britcar to work together at the same meetings.
