Ok, so I haven't seen it at the time of writing but I reckon Max is due to announce that FOTA's conditional entry has been accepted conditionally which is downright childish but as Max seems to have the mental age of about 3 & 1/2 is right up his street.
I've also said that in the small print will be the line "No team that's not signed up unconditionally for 2010 can score points in 2009's Chmapionships".
The question is, what do think is in the small print?

I'm expecting to see Williams, Force India and ten brand new teams on the list. Oh, and Ferrari, because they're "special".
If the other seven FOTA members still want to be in F1 after the list is published, it'll cost each of them a substantial amount of money.

Well, by this time tomorrow we should hear who's in and who's out for next season. I can only see USGP, Prodrive and Lola gaining entry, the rest are paper entries that Mosley has managed to arrange by calling in some favours (March being the most obvious). The big question is, will he disallow the FOTA block entry (even though it was his idea)? There's only a couple of things that can happen as Mosley's painted himself in a corner and would be obliged to accept the new team entries over FOTA entries. So either:
1. Mosley actually weeds out the genuine entries from the chaff, leaving 3 new teams for next year
2. Mosley chucks all the new cost-capped teams in the pot for next year, his way of saying to FOTA, "You've had it lads, there's no room at the inn, and now you will pay for your insolence."
So that'll leave either 10 team spots or, at worst, none at all. Then we are on to the subject of FOTA's conditional block entry:
1. Mosley accedes to FOTA's demands (zero chance of this happening)
2. Mosley Disallows FOTA's group entry as invalid, forcing the teams to have to put in late unconditional entries individually, with no doubt a hefty fine for doing so (as with Williams in the early 90's, when they actually forgot!). Which they may not do.
3. FOTA recapitulates at the last minute and put in unconditional entries, this may still leave some of them on the street though
On top of that you've got Bernie threatening to sue the Bejesus out of the teams for breach of contract, to the tune of [Doctor Evil] hundreds of millions of Dollars [/Doctor Evil], and also claiming Ferrari have to race in F1 until 2012 no matter what.
If Max accepts most or all of these entries from the cost-capped teams, he is then of course obliged to let them race next year, even if half the cars are jalopies that make an early 90's Andrea Moda look like the 2004 Ferrari. Even worse is that they have to take priority over the FOTA teams. So even if FOTA put in individual, cost-capped entries tomorrow, at least some of them will not be able to race next year. I'm sure Toyota are fine with that, maybe even BMW, but Mosley is inevitably going to have some pretty high-profile scalps in his attempt to show everyone who's boss.

It will be a sad day if it happens, but Max does seem hell bent on showing everyone who's boss. I get the feeling that if you try to corner Max, he will come out fighting, and that's the position he's in. He sees the nasty boys known as FOTA as taking over his baby, and that's not on.
The whole thing has tainted Formula 1, and I can see a few teams walking away from it. Renault have been making noises, Toyota and BMW also seem to be paving the way for an exit.
My concerns are for Brawn. Standing shoulder to shoulder with the big guy's, but with more to loose as there only buisness is formula 1.
Does anyone know what time the FIA are due to release the list?

The FIA, however, believes the teams committed several years ago when they signed deals with the governing body and Formula One Management tying themselves to the sport.
The list also confirmed that three new teams had been granted an entry - Campos Grand Prix, Manor Grand Prix and Team US F1.
Should any of the five current teams not make the cut, then the FIA is evaluating further entries being added.
AUTOSPORT understands there are three or four other teams who are close to being granted entries, and dialogue is still ongoing.

No surprise to see USF1 entry, if F1 is ever going to crack North America etc.
Campos signed a deal with Dallara to build their car and Campos is are reportedly very wealthy and well funded. (also not another British team)
Manor? Well this is clearly the new name for the Nick Wirth entry, Manor has loads of F3, World Series experience, Wirth brings with him Simtek, Pacific (?) and other F1 design work. Wonder about the money on that one.
Slightly surprised Epsilon didn't get an entry, nor Prodrive (maybe too close to McLaren), but sure with Lola, all are ready in the wings if there isn't a change of tune from FOTA.
Classic Moseley/Ecclestone approach using the smokescreen of stating Ferrari Red Bull Toyota are already legally committed but Brawn & McLaren need to change tune or face axe, DIVIDE & CONQUER! Lets see how strong FOTA resolve is...
Oh and yes, plenty mileage left in this saga.
