GT40 - Silverstone Villlage - Gulf colours.

8am this morning right in the centre of Silverstone Village / Little London.

GT40 - I assume replica but i may be wrong, in gulf colours.

Lady in the passenger seat with ear defenders on - and i'm not surprised - sounded awesome.

hard to tell, on the basis that road going mk IIs are ultra rare, i would guess that its a replica. That and the shiny paintwork suggests respray or a replica as no original road cars would have been in gulf colours and any discerning owner of a real one would probably keep the original colour.

I can't imagine anyone leaving an original GT40 in a car park like that. I thought it may be Graham Turner's one but he is sponsored by Gulf for promotional work so it wouldn't be there.

He was brave. I parked there last year and the lane up to the school is narrow with plenty of overhangs either side to scratch your paintwork (luckily I had the Avis Laguna offer )
