Spa - Summer Classic this weekend

I have a friend who is racing his fully prepped 914 for the first time so Im going to pop along and take in the atmosphere of some of this beautiful old machinery.

I know entrance is free - but will there be free access around the pit area etc - or will it be closed off to Joe Public?

For the last Porsche Club Francorchamp day I managed to wander around freely and get nice and close to the machinery and the track - but as this is a 'race' as opposed to a 'track day' - will it be restricted?

as far as I know, the paddock area will be unrestricted, the marshals may be a bit twitchy about the pitlane when cars are coming and going..

I'll be there doing the Ardennes Challenge in my Lotus 11 Replica.

As people have said entry is free but you still have to pay for parking.

Well good luck to both of you in your races.

Sadly Im only able to make the saturday as Im off on hols on Sunday but Im assuming there'll be lots of track action with you guys getting the set-ups right etc.

You guys got any pics so I know what to look out for around the track! I'll probably do my usual and have a wander around and try to take some pics from different locations around the circuit.

I wont hang around and get in the way - but as per Le Mans a couple of years ago, its nice to meet some fellow PH folk!
