I went last year and it was about £7 each.
It was fantastic. I was just getting into F1 about then and i didnt really apreciate what I was looking at. I knew many of the names but didnt apreciate the significance of the individual cars.
Go to the museum, its great. But do your homework first.
I would love to go back now I am knowlagable enough about the subject. When I went it got to the point where it was F1 car, another F1 car, another F1 car....

Brilliant day out. There are cars there that you won't see anywhere else. The Dave Purley Lec is a stark reminder as to how dangerous motorsport was and how much safety has improved over the years.
My favourite cars were
Williams FW18 Damon Hill car.
Cosworth F1 car.
Lotus 49 even though it has no race history.
Eagle Climax (shame it isn't a Weslake)
I liked the reaction of one of the staff when I pointed out that one of their info boards in front of a car was wrong!
That probably makes me a
though.

though. It is a real treasure. I've been lucky enough to go to a lot of car museums, but this has the most epic collection of machinery.
An entire hall of McLarens - every model from the 1970s up until 2000ish. A similar display of Williams. Those two halls alone bring back memories of Mansell, Piquet, Prost, Senna and Hakkinen.
If you like 60s and 70s racers, how about two of Jackie Stewart's championship winning Tyrrells, Jim Clark and Jack Brabham title winning cars. Or even further back : Lancia - Ferraris from the dawn of the World Championship.
For me, the highlights are some of the forgotten cars. The aforementioned Lec, the De Cesaris era Alfa V12, the very odd Cosworth 4WD F1 car and the moving Roger Williamson display.
If you ever feel that F1 politics are draining your passion, head up to Donington and I promise that you'll fall back in love with the sport.

Thanks for all the info. Just going to try and persuade some others to come with. I want to have a go on the new circuit simulator

If my car is fixed I am planning on going on Thursday as they have a Test Day on as well so I can photograph that when/if I have finished in the Musuem 
Anything specific testing? Might go thursday if its something interesting. I'm disappointed no-one has commented on the Gerry Marshall display, 450 trophies, his most favourite helmet and overalls, a superb original painting by Andrew Kitson and of course, Old Nail, the most successful racing Vauxhall ever!!
